1997 Ford Taurus Tag light messed up

Electrical problem
1997 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 180k miles

I can close the hatch one time and the Tag light works than I hit a bump or I close the hatch again and it wont work. I need this fixed before i get pulled over again any advice

Hi there,

This will be a loose globe or a bad earth, both fairly simple things to inspect, if in doubt your mechanic should only take a few minutes to rectify this for you.
