drivers door indicates that it is open ,but it is not! how do I fix. the interior light is staying on when door shut.

Try using a thin oil such as wd-40 and thoughly spray the latchs on the doors. Open and close the doors 20-30 times and respray. May want to clean first with brake clean, but probably won't have to.
