1997 Ford Taurus 178500 miles

my head lights do not come on at night. the dash switch
does not help. they will come on only if i pull back on
the column high/low selector switch.

When pulling switch on steering you are turning high beam on
check fuses
check light bulbs
check and suspect bad light switch
