what causes the radiator cap to keep poping off, the car is geting hot

Kept happening to mine too, bad design as far as I'm concerned, I order a pressure tester adapter for the car, it screws onto the bottle's threads, then I use a regular type radiator cap. Google Stant cooling sytem pressure tester adapter #12026, buy it and it screws onto the bottle, and normal cap can be used instead of this bit of crap!
