1996 Ford tarus GL 3.0 strut replacement

Anybody know how to get to the top of the rear struts?? Does the rear seat need to come out or is there some sort of access panel I'm not seeing??

You have go through the trunk. You also have to lift the speaker out of the way because it sits on top of one of the bolts and retaining nuts . Al least on the passenger side rear of my 1995 the speaker was a problem
