My mom owns a 1996 Ford Taurus 6cyl 130,000 miles Auto 2 Wheel Drive. The brake lights are not working, but I don't have a car manual to see a diagram of the fuse box. Can you tell me which fuse I need to change to get the brake lights working?? Also, I found 1 fuse box under the hood of the car. I didn't see one under the dashboard of the drivers side. Is there another fuse box ????

The fuse panel is located to the left of the steering column under the instrument panel, to uncover the fuse panel pull the release bar up with your right hand and pull panel down with left hand.

Its on no.28 light blue fuse, if fuse is okay, check the brake light stop switch on the brake pedal bracket.

Hope this helps
