1995 Ford Taurus Steering column adjustment or repair

hi j we have the same last name lol.if the selector on the shifter letters are not lineing up . loosen nut ot cable on trans put trans in part line up perfect tighten nut check selector if lined up ok if not put car in drive not running loosen nut on trans line up selector with letter retighten.check trans fluid level.there is a adjustment on the throttle body this adjust throttlevalve pressure this is the only adjustment without replaceing servo rods and this is normally done with a trans overhaul/ good luck billymac
