1995 Ford Taurus 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

i can't get the rear caliper to depress. is there a trick to it or is my caliper defective?

It does not push back in, it is screwed in with a special tool, rent it at autozone, retal is free when you return the tool, be carful not to rip or twist the boot!
