How do you replace the heater hoses on a 95 Ford Taurus 3.0L. The existing hoses start near the t-stat housing and go to a metal pipe with a factory crimp connecting them. At the heater core end, they connect to the heater core with a normal clamp, then attach to the other end of the metal pipe with the same factory type crimp. Do you cut the crimp and replace with cut to fit hose and clamp. They look like they might be a molded hose. My local Advance auto only lists cut to fit. One of my concerns is, is the ends of the metal pipe flared to hold the hose on?

Thanks for any advise.[img:e26c133452]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/165975_DSC_0369_1.jpg[/img:e26c133452]

Stop at the dealer parts dept. and ask to see an exploded view. They probably have the right hose for that. Some parts are just not available aftermarket. The replacement will probably come as one unit with the metal pipe too.
