I started my car and within 20 seconds the gasket was blown off the oil filter resulting in excessive oil spilling out. I have searched and talked to several people and found out that the problem was the oil pressure relief valve. My problem is that I can't find out where its located at and how to get to it to fix the problem could you please help...

The oil relief valve is within the oil pump, not serviceable.. if bad oil pump must be replaced.. I woul;d suggest hooking up a mechanical oil pressure gauge, remove the electric oil sender unit(use that fitting hole) and see what readings you get, depending on the quality of the gauge the readings may vary a bit.. hot oil pressure usually somewhere in the 40-60 psi range.. or bolt up another oil filter see what happens.
