Suspension problem
1994 Ford Taurus Engine Size unknown Front Wheel Drive Automatic 75000 miles

i last drove my car 4 days ago and it was driving just fine. i went to drive it this morning only to find the wheel well resting on the right front tire. i had backed it up and there lying on the ground was a curled and rusted piece of steel. is it a broken shock? could it have been cut or was it just so old it snapped?
