We put the 91 motor on the 94 but are noticing some wiring differnces. Our problem is with the computer and the brake being pushed. When we push the brake to start the car it stays on as long as you keep your foot on the brake. We think theres a problem with the solenoid and the computer. The 94 had the solenoid on the starter.

You have a few compatibility issues here....

First, the 91 used MAP sensor for mixture control. The 94 uses a Mass Air Flow sensor.

There are differences in the EGR and possibly injector calibration.

The starter is different. You need to use the 94 starter.

As for the transmission, there are a few differences there as well. The wiring harness and connectors are different, but more importantly, the MLUS solenoid in the 91 transmission will fry your computer. It needs to have the newer solenoid.
