My 1994 ford taurus has had a fuel problem in last couple of weeks; i replaced the fuel filter, checked the pump which was in good condition even though i have had a problem. i know its not the pump, the filter, i checked the IRCM model J and the pump work when i positve jump on the alternator and the pin for the fuel pump. Know my question is where is the fuel pump relay and the droping resistor; and the inerta switch i have checked but i cant find the problem their.
thanks

Hi mryanhockey87, welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation

What liter -3.0 or 3.8L ??

When you applied direct power to the fuel pump this will cause the engine to fire up unless the injectors are not pulsing or its not getting an ignition spark-

Although the new fuel pump comes on, the question here-is it producing the correct fuel pressure, you need to check the actual fuel pressue if its within specs

thank you for your input.

know i also checked the resistance to the injectors and didnt give me a reading on two of them facing in front of the engine. also where is the relay? and if the pressure is a problem my option would be changing the regulator near the manifold, right?

The fuel pump relay is integrated within the constant control relay module on upper radiator support. You need to check the fuel pressure with a gauge to rule out the fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator and fuel pump
