1990 Ford Taurus starting /brake vacuum line

I have a 1990 ford taurus GL with a 3.0 engine. Every winter I have problems with it starting. It will turn over but will not start. If I leave it alone and come back in 30 minutes or so it will usually start right up. Sometimes when it does start it will spit and sputter and then die and it won't start again for about 30 minutes. Again turning over but not starting. I don't have this problem in the warmer months. Also the vacuum line to my power brakes had come off but I am not sure where its located to reconnect it so I have brakes.

The vacuum line is most likely your starting problem as well. Goes from intake manifold to either a vacuum junction on the firewall or directly to the brake booster. Be sure there is a check valve on the booster

My starting problem has been going on for the past 3 winters. Once the weather warms up here in California I don't have that problem any more until winter comes around again. It acts like its not getting fuel or is getting too much fuel. Is there a fuel sensor that could be out of wack? And where would I find it at. Also when it is doing this is there a pressure valve that I can check to see if there is fuel in the line? The Brake vacuum line just came off. Thanks I was able to locate it and reconnect it, I have brakes again.

Look for fuel in the vacuum line for the pressure regulator. Located on fuel rail. Is th echeck engine light on? If it is have the PCm scanned for codes. Also if vacuum line is dry, try a fuel pressure test . Has the car been tuned up lately?
