the temp gauge in my car is not working. It is a needle type guage. I believe the temp. sensor needs to be replaced. I purchased a new one but can't locate the old one on the motor. Can you tell me where it is located and is there some diagram that shows it's location.

coolant temperature sending unit is located on the rear of the engine and the coolant temperature sensor is located at the left front side of engine OR left top side of engine depending on engine.
