I have a 1990 ford ranger with a 4 cly.It has no spark and I was wondering if you tell me how to test the crank sensor with a dvm.and any other tests that I should proform.thank you.

I'd suggest getting a repair that has a diagnostic tree. It will lead you step by step through what to check, and how to check it... A few hit and miss comments here won't take you near as far as the patterned search of a good diagnostic method. It is then as simple as "check so-and-so... this is how you check it... is it good or bad? it's good? ..then step two..." and so on, to an end.
