My 1999 Ford Ranger, 130K miles, 3.0L, has a problem with the door locks. Using the keyless entry or the inside buttons, the driver door unlocks on the first try about 25% of the time. The passenger side doesn't quite make it. Successive unlocking attempts result in weaker responses until nothing is heard or seen. A work around I found to get the passenger side door unlocked is to hit the lock button first then the unlock button. Any ideas?
