dome lights

2000 Ford Ranger 53,000miles 6 cyl.
The dome lights and outside rear cab lights came on when I started my truck and I was unable to turn them off even when turning off the truck. Any suggestions?

no really does the door adjar light come on if so even if it doesnt i would do this anyway just so you dont have a prob later cause it will happen. but on ford rangers they have a verry bad prob of the door latches that hold the door shut they have the sensor in them that determines weather the door is shut or not but their is a big prob with the latch getting stuck in the open position and the dome light and all other lights that come on when door is opened will stay on continuesly but all you have to do is use a spray lubricant into the latch (you dont have to remove it) then shut the dor and open it a couple of times. try this first then we will c
