Hey guys,

I am installing an aftermarket cruise control kit from Audiovox, and it requires a vacuum line connection. I am not sure where to find one that is safe to splice into. I know I am looking at the intake, but mine is like a giant swooping loop that hides everything, and the engine is so close to the firewall, I can't see back behind it. Do you guys have a picture or diagram that shows exactly where I can find a good source? Also, the kit suggested I use a vacuum resevoir (which I bought seperately). It came with no instructions. do I just hook it up in line with my vacuum hose between my source and the cruise control sensor? What is it doing exactly? And which is the "in?" One petcock says "AMP," and one says "MAN." Cheers for any help you can provide!

Somewhere on the intake manifold should be a few vacuum lines attached, usually a few in a group. Find that place where they attach. Sometimes there are extra ports that are capped off for other accessories. You need constant vacuum source off of the intake. The resevoir, hook the engine vacuum line to the "man" port, the other side goes out to the cruise unit.
