I recently changed my brake pads. I have changed brake pads several times and have a pretty good idea of what I am doing. I do not make any adjustments to the calipers, though. This is the first time I've used ceramic pads. Now I have a constant scraping noise coming from the wheel area. After a couple of weeks of the noise (hoping ti would go away on its own) I removed the pads and cleaned everything again before re-installing them. I was able to turn the wheel much more easily after re-installing them, but now the sound is even worse. The noise goes away when I have full pressure on the brakes. Any ideas or suggestions?

So did you turn the rotors or replace them? If you put new pads on old rotors then they will make noise. You did put the shims in and anti squeel too right? Was the noise there before the pad change?
