This last weekend my truck made a horrible grinding noise that seems to be coming from the front passenger side tire area. The truck is running just fine, but this happened when I was moving forward or backwards and then it quit. I drove onto my destination and it happened again for just a moment, then quit. My husband looked under the truck and decided that we needed to have the wheels lubricated - so we did immediately. I have not heard the noise since then. Could it have been that easy to repair or is there something else we should look into about this noise? I do not want to mess up anything with this truck by not doing what needs to be done about this horrible grinding noise. I do not like car trouble and would rather be proactive, so if there is something else we should look at please let me know. I don't want this to happen again.
