Engine Performance problem
2003 Ford Ranger 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
i had a friend of mine who works on cars for a living tell me that american cars are made using low quality metals and that after 50,000 miles the metals have worn so much from vibration that instead of a thin oil now I use 5/20 synthetic he said switch to a heavier oil and since there will now be more metal dust in the oil also use a really high grade oil filter...Is there any fact to this ?
