2003 Ford Ranger Edge 2WD Noise In Front End

When I accelerate from a complete stop I hear a clunk in the front end, and also feel it in the steering wheel any suggestions please

get the truck on jacks (front end hanging in the air not jacked up by the suspension)and use a crow bar to check for bad/loose components, might be a tie rod end or maybe a ball joint making the noise. also check the lugs and make sure the wheels are on tight and the bearings are not causing it.You can do this by pulling the wheels top to bottom and side to side there should not be alot of play in the wheels
