To install, reverse the removal procedure.

where is the location of the oil pressure sensor?

Passenger side behind cylinder head in the back of the engine block.

I was just told by the Ford dealer that my oil pressure sending unit was bad and that they wanted $100 to repair it so I decided to do it myself. I purchased the part but I cannot find the sending unit anywhere that I have looked on the engine. Can you please explain to me where it is or better yet show me a picture.

3.0L On right rear of engine-see below

In the morning or when the engine is cold my oil pressure gauge is low or not responding until the engine heats up, then it goes to normal pressure. This takes anywhere from 2 to 5 minutes. During this time, I don't hear or feel anything out of the ordinary. What should be done? Is it the oil pump?

Just be sure to use the correct viscosity motor oil that your truck calls for. When your truck is cold and you are using a heavier weight motor oil it is the thickest when cold. After your engine warms up the oil will thin out and flow better throughout the engine. The correct oil to use will be marked on the oil fill cap. Since you didn't specify which V6 your truck has the 3.0 L uses 5W-20 oil, And the 4.0L uses 5W-30 oil.
