Just bought the truck a week ago, was checking oil and noticed the MAF sensor was unpluged. Mind you the truck seemed to run OK. I went from a f150 v8 to the 4 cyl. for fuel economy. Anyway I pugged it back in and tried to start the struck, it started but ran poorly. I unplugged it and it ran like it did before. So I thought I would clean the sensor. I puchaced a can of sensor cleaner at the parts store and followed the directions on the can. This did nothing, If I pug it in it runs poorly or not at all. Isd the sensor bad or do I have a wiring problem to the sensor? I can use a multimeter but what should I check for?
