1999 Ford Ranger auto locking hubs

I replaces mine in a 95 Ranger. It is a snap, just remember to use a magnet to get out the little key. It did not mention it in the Chilton's. Or rather it did in an unrelated spot.

They go for about $437 ea for auto hubs from the dealer and wear quite regularly. You can get a set of Warn manuals, which are bulletproof, for about 140- 200 depending on whether you need the kit. At 1/4 the price, I get out and lock them, or leave them locked in the snow and shift into or out of 4wd as needed.
