A few moments after starting the engine, a bell sound will start to peep. It peeps four times followed by a few minutes of silence and then again it peeps four times. It does it about four or five times.

Ford dealership charged me $180 dollars just to tell me that it's a Electric Crush Sensory Module. The cost to repair is prohibited as it's just an old pick-up and I am on a fixed income.

Can you help me locate this module and where can I go to get the schematics for this vehicle. I checked Ford Company but was informed that the VIN entered was not available at this time.

The work sheet referred to a "ecs module" and then it spells it out as Electric crash sensor The Ford dealership wants 241.24 dollars for the part and 345.00 dollars for labor. It's just an old work truck that I may use once a week and I hate to invest more money into it. I was hoping to buy a used part and have someone install it for me. The Auto recycle place didn't know what it was and asked me where it went!! Heck, I don't even know what it is much less where it goes! Can you help? Thanks,
