hey i am a 17 year old kid and got my license about a year ago i just got my oil changed yesterday. i woke up today and drove to work it sat at work then i started it up no problem and drove it home dint notice and noise driving home could be because of load music. but anyway after sitting on a hill for about 3 hours i started it up to move it so we could take my classic car out of the garage it started making this clanking noise almost like if u put a bolt in a can and shook it up. its on the driver side of the engine and if i rev it in park to like 1500 it goes away only happens at idle. if u stick ur head under the car its louder but from up above it sounds like its coming from the valve cover its really annoying and embarrassing to have this noise come from ur car. PLEASE ANSWER my question i need this truck to go to work and without it im lost i love the truck and hope its not something expensive. because im 17 with 2 jobs and i cant afford anything expensive.
