I have had no problems with the ranger whatsoever, put gas in, change the oil and brakes, and I am set to go. However, Winter has just hit in minnesota, truck was running great, I Store it outside and use a block heater. I was running just about on E, and didn't have a ton of cash on me, so I put in a quarter tank. I drove from the gas station home, and the engine died on a downhill. I put it in neutral, and rode into a parking lot. I got towed home, and started right back up! but when I put it in gear, the engine died. It runs good in idle, I can hit the gas and get the revs up to 4-5k and it goes back down fine. It needs a new O2 sensor, we put seafoam in the tank and put a new fuel filter in. still the same problem. Whats up with it? I also noticed if I rock the car while its running, sometimes it dies.
