ok so heres the deal. my truck was running fine and then one day i came to a red light and noticed that upon idle it seemed like the truck was close to dying. so when i got home i turned off the truck, and tried to turn it back over. didn't work. later that day i went to turn it over again this time it turned over fine. i shut it off with in a minute and went to turn it over but it didnt turn over unless i was at wide open throttle. im thinking something is wrong with the fuel pump but im not sure

when you have fuel problems giving it more gas makes it shut off faster that sounds like either a ignition problem or a stopped up exaust

also a clogged air filter or exuast pipe will make it not run well while hot
