When first starting up in the morning it takes the transmission several seconds(4-5) before shifting into gear-forward or reverse. It seems to be better the rest of the day after it has been used once.

There are rubber o-rings that get dried out and harden over the years. As a result, when they are cold, the fluid can bypass them taking it a few seconds for the trans to shift into the selected gear. There are products that are made to soften the o-rings and help them work more efficiently. You may want to try that.

Let me know if it helps.

I hope it helps. Let me know in the future. I'm not allowed to suggest brands, but you got a good one.

Take care and I hope it helps.
