I purchased my 1996 Ford Ranger with the EGR valve tubes cut and crimped shut. I found replacement tubes at the salvage yard and now I want to install them. I have been spraying PB Blaster on all the nuts and fittings for about 2 months. I successfully removed the nut that holds the EGR upper tube and the dipstick tube to the engine, but I can't seen to move the dipstick out of the way. It moves, but won't come out of the engine. I need to move it or remove it so I can get to the nut that actually holds the EGR upper tube in place. Is there a trick to this?[img:15b3e0f2f6]http://www.2carpros.com/forum/automotive_pictures/183342_DSC01075_1.jpg[/img:15b3e0f2f6]
