Heater problem
1996 Ford Ranger 4 cyl Two Wheel Drive Manual 200k miles

I am wondering what it might be if in the winter the air is blowing and in the winter the heat is blowing.. i think my vent is stuck, sometimes if i pull a valve from under the glove dept and put back in it will work right for a lil while.. what is the name of the part i need?

INSUFFICIENT HEAT
Ensure cooling system is operating properly. Check heater system hoses and core for coolant flow. Check for loose or misaligned cable to temperature blend door.
NO OUTSIDE AIRFLOW
Check for kinked or disconnected vacuum hoses. Check vacuum motor and function control vacuum switch for leakage. Check outside/recirculation door for binding.
