1995 Ford Ranger engine knock

Engine problem
1995 Ford Ranger V6 Four Wheel Drive Manual 150000 miles

My 1995 ford ranger 3.0L just started knocking one day out of the blue it sounds like it is coming from the driver side rear cylinder near the bottom. I dont know what to do, it would be great if i could get some advice.
