1995 Ford Ranger dome light

My dome light will not turn off I have made sure the switch is off and have sprayed wd-40 on the latch mechanisim. Do you have any other things I can try to get it to go off?

Check the switch on the light, the small switch inside the door sill which engages when the door is closed. If no diff change the door switch.
