1993 Ford Ranger ranger clutch bleeding

i have a 93 ranger and i replaced the slave cyl and master cyl ,and the shop cant seem to get it bled all the way as i have grinding and is so hard to get in any gear,there must be a trick to this because i see it is some what of a common problem

They are a PITA I usually pump the pedal by hand (since it stays down) many times, then open the bleeder. Pump the pedal, open the bleeder.Takes many tries to get all the air out
