1992 Ford Ranger magical gas tank

hello, i recently relocated my fuel tank from my bed back to the stock position in a 1992 ford ranger ex-cab 2wd 3.0 V6 5 speed. the previous owner had the tank in the bed due to clearance issues.. i have to put i back underneath in order to pass inspection.... well i took of two fuel lines that ran toward the front of the truck, i took off the filler hose and the sending unit clip. i then moved the tank to the stock position installing both fuel lines the filler hose and the wiring... but now when i try and start the truck it wont start?? i really need help asap because i need this truck as a daily driver and as of rite now its my only vehicle. pleas any advice will be greatly appreciated

first things first, take and find a clean funnel stick it in the fuel filer for the tank, and have someone turn the key to on, do you hear the in tank pump come on? if not recheck your wiring. if it does come on next step is to get a fuel pressure reading at the fuel rail.

well heres the thing my fuel pump is wired seperatly to a toggle switch on my dash. and yes i can here i come on when the switch is fliped to the on position..... whats the next thing i should check?

really shoud be checking the fuel pressure to see if its in specs it can be pumping a few psi vs the amount needed for a succesfful start 10 psi can bee the diff from no start and a perfect start.

yea i was talkin with another mechanic and he said the same thing ..... now how can i check the pressure? im guessing im going to have to buy a gauge and see right? if so where can i find a gauge at... and what do i need to fix in order to get more pressure, if infact pressure is the problem?
