Can someone please tell how hard it is to change an oil pump if i need any specail toolsor knowlegde

Remove oil pan.
Disconnect pick up tube from main bearing cap stud
remove oil pump attaching bolts
remove oil pump assembly with drive shaft
Disconnect pick up tube from main bearing cap stud
remove oil pump attaching bolts
remove oil pump assembly with drive shaft

this question i posted earlier
i was driving truck when i down shifted to second my engine started too make a this noise
it is internal noise clicking noise that picks up with the rpm and drops to idle when the clutch is in
the clicking stays with the engine it sounds like a rocker spring broke or came off
but i was also told that it can make that noise if the oil pump goes bad
but my oil preussure gauge is either broke or there is no oil pressure can some one tell my if i can still drive my truck like this or if the engine is shot
if u have any info on this please help

You need to check and make sure you have an oil pressure
you should not drive with no oil pressure or engine will be damaged
locate oil pressure switch and check if its any good
u can also remove it and check oil pressure throw it by hooking up a gauge and starting the engine
as for the noise
u may remove valve cover and check the rocker arms if u have collapse lifter or other issues
but oil pressure is the top issue no sense doing any thing without oil pressure
and if you have a lot of miles it maybe wise to get another good used engine
good luck

but i wont come it has bars and suspesion arms keeping it from falling to the ground the transmisson is too close to slide it that way and the suspesion arms keep it from going forward and there is something inside keeping it from moving sideways
the front suspenion arms are tied in on the same bracketas the engine mount
my question is how do u remove the oil pan
so that i can replace the oil pump
