1990 Ford Ranger Four Wheel Drive Manual

I have a 1990 Ford Ranger STX 4WD with a 2.9L
V6. It has a 5 spd. manual transmission. I would like to know what type of fluids go in the transmission and in the rear end.

put gear lube in the rear end. for the tranny i suggest automatic transmission fluid or thin gear lube. go to a autopart store and ask for the ford recommended kinds.
