I recently had the valve overs off to get rid of the sewing machine sound. I managed to mess it up. I was also able to get the valves back to where they belonged. I still have a slight knock, thats ok(and better then it was). Now the truck runs worse than it did before I did the valve job". The truck seems slugglish when coming into second and beyond. plugs are news as is the oil, filter and air filter.I also checked the vacuum lines and they are all ok and in the proper place I tried adjusting the screws on the carb, it got it better. I need to know what the proper adjustment for the carb is? What is the best way to set it, at a high rpm or low? I live in a state where there are no vehicle inspections, so the CAT is long gone. I just don't know what else to do, I do NOT really want to remove the covers again.... HELP
