hi i was wondering if i could get some advice. The last time i went to adjust the distributor position the thing wouldn't move at all no matter what i tried it doesn't have any other engine problems and the motor isn't even rusty. the motor is a 351 cleveland.

Very common problem on old Fords dist. via electrolsis sort of welds itself. PB Blaster and channel locks on shaft body can work. Have used propane tourch once If you get it loose set on TDC pull out sandpaper and antiseize compound
