my ford probe 2l 16v 73455 it cuts out when it is cold but does not do it when its warm it can cut out a few times before it works

Has the car had routine maintenence performed? If not, that could be your problem. New plugs, wires, distributor cap, air filter are all a part of a tune up that should be performed on a car as it approaches 80-90,000 miles.
