Recently my car started sporadically bucking. It happens very randomly. It started a few months ago; I would be driving, feel like a sudden compression in the engine (the car would 3-5 miles per hour instantly) and the car would start to buck. It only did this once or twice over the summer. It would even out and be fine. Now it does it all the time. I'll be on the interstate and every 5-10 minutes it will do this, last a minute or two, even out and ride fine, then start again a few minutes later. I have no problems with speed (I can get it over 80 mph), it does not stall nor do I have problems starting it. I have changed the fuel filter and there was no change. A point worth mentioning is that the section of exhaust from the engine to the catalytic converter has a decent hole in it. Could that be affecting the O2 sensor?
