1994 Ford Probe run problem

after replacing air intake hose and fuel filter, car will idle but tries to die when i give it some throttle or if i get it to go with throttle applied it tries to die when it returns to idle.... what is the possible problem here?

make sure the vehicle's fuel filter was put on the proper way.. you might have the wrong filter or the flow wrong.

make sure the air intake hose is hooked up properly and no air leaks in it.
