Have you used a test light to verify power ot the interior fuse panel? These circuits dont share very much other than getting their power from the same place

Thanks for your reply. I looked under the hood today and noticed a plastic wire plug connector that leads to a black box on the fireall melted. The plug connected 4 wires that lead from that black box towards the front of the engine. The wire colors were black, two aqua wires, one with a yellow strip and the other aqua wire with a black strip, and a creamish color wire. I cut the plug off and reconnected the wires but did not get any resolution. Could this be the black box? Many other wires lead to the black box.

If those wires did carry power and melted, you might have a fusible link or other main fuse out. Did you verify power to all fuses with a test light? So many things not working, there will be a lack of power somewhere in the fuse/relay center
