Electrical problem
1989 Ford Probe Manual 141000 miles

My reverse lights stay on all the time.
started with gear shift in drive then it is now on when the car is in neutral
can u please help me

Hello, take a look at the neutral switch, may need to adjust the shift cable.

Where can i find instructions on how to look at the neutral switch as well as adjust the shift cable?

please if you dont mind or even where i can find it online.

My bad, I don't know why I thought you had an automatic, it says manual on your post. Check the back-up light switch. Below is the partsbook picture.

But as far as the pic u sent where am i suppose to find that?
By the way did tht pic come from something that i am able to see online i tried to find a free online manual for 1989 ford probe turbo with no success

please forgive me for the novice knowledge regarding this problem i am a female in training

I don't know if the above link will work, it came from the site. I don't have a good picture of the location. I'd look at the bottom of the transaxle or close to the bottom.

I got to the site i had to do alot of leg work cause i knew i had an acct w/ autozone so im in now ill take a look and get back with you if i have other questions which i probably will :)
