1980 Ford Pinto Changing the headlight switch

there is a spring button on the top back of the headlightswitch that holds the handle in. plull the handle to on then push the spring button and the handle will pull out. then loosen the nut at the front and the switch should come out through the back. pull the harness connector from it and replace in teh reverse order. You don't need to push the spring button down when installing the pull handle just push it in and try it to see if the head lights work.
