I have a 96 F159 with 139,900 miles with a 302 engine. My question is: The pos. bat. cable broke at the battery terminal so I attached just the lead battery connector to it to connect to the battery, it doesn't pass emissions because they don't get an OEM reading on the computer. Is there something wrong with just connecting the lead battery connectors to the battery. Emissions just say to drive for a few days and come back
