ford fiesta steering clicking

i have just bought a 1995 ford fiesta 1.1 3 door hatchback. the steering clicks when i turn to the left and squeaks when i turn to the right.

what is the problem and how much will it cost to have fixed?

Check the CV-joints...I bet the rubber boots are split and most of the grease is gone! Once they start clicking...you gotta change em!
