I have a 96 Ford TBIRD and with a power antenna. My problem is that it makes a loud buzzing sound as it is going up and for about 5 seconds after the antenna is fully extended. Just the other day my antenna stopped going down all the way, so it stops 2-3 inches before it is fully back in the car. What could it be, do i need to take it in, is it expensive, and is it possible for me to fix it without taking my car in (I don't have a lot of knowledge of experience working on cars)?
